Background:

Born in Central Florida, Debbie worked at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center until 1989 when she moved to South Florida to pursue a career in communications. Debbie spent nearly 10 years managing a wide scope of communications, public relations and marketing/promotions programs, including serving as a spokesperson for the AutoNation USA megastores.  Debbie joined MSI Consulting in 2001 and is responsible for client development, management and recruiting efforts.   She has volunteered her time with Kids in Distress, Take Stock in Children, and Gilda’s Club.

Industry trends:

The entire recruiting dynamic has dramatically changed over the past decade.  Social media allows organizations to communicate in ways that didn’t exist in 2001. Job listings top the list of reasons to use social media. Statistics from 2014 show that 89% of all recruiters report having hired someone through LinkedIn alone. As recruiters, we now have access to limitless information, allowing for a more effective search and placement process, which ultimately benefit our clients.
